What Is the 2026 Formula 1 Season?
The 2026 Formula 1 World Championship is set to be one of the most transformative seasons in the sport's 75-year history. It marks the beginning of a new "era" defined by a complete overhaul of the technical regulations.
For the first time since 2014, the engines (Power Units) are changing drastically. They will now use 100% sustainable fuel and rely far more on electric power (50% internal combustion, 50% electric). The cars themselves will be smaller, lighter, and feature "Active Aerodynamics" to improve racing.
On top of the technical revolution, the grid is expanding. Audi enters the sport as a full factory team, and Cadillac joins as the 11th team, bringing the total number of cars to 22. This section covers everything you need to know to follow the action, from the race calendar to the driver line-ups.
